MORE ABOUT LIFE ASPECTS

I myself grew up from a relatively poor  family  but from my perspectives, I did observe that most of my friends from the other families spent their days on empty stomach, wore ripped off clothes which were somehow very dirty;covered  in food particles and sometimes mud . i think some of us can imagine that situation .Having stayed with my grandparents for some good time, I also learned some quotes that I can well relate to my dark life I went through while I was young that qoute was "life isn't about sitting down and waiting for the storm to pass,it is about learning to dance in rain" which actually helped me as far as my progress was concerned I mean I did learn a lot of aspect such as if i can remember well,at the age of 7 I sometimes had to grow some crop such as egg plants, passion fruits and many others that I had to sell and buy myself  some stuff that I needed such as books, pens and other scholastic materials as you may name them .And earlier at the age of 6,i myself planted 10 coffee plants which generally helped me increase on my income  and I remember paying myself primary 4's school fees as my father was away and my mother was sick but it was" coffee harvesting season" so I sold it and paid my fees balance .My Mum felt delighted with me..

So years have went  on, thing have been improving though not all that good but there is a bit of improvement I mean as the way i get my food, fees, and how I get money to buy clothings and I always make sure my siblings are far better than I myself that is to say I make sure even if my mum was away, they get the needs which I can make available such as food, clean water as I know what typhoid and other diseases mean to a child's health and also make sure that i am helpful to the community as well  by teaching them about uses of safe, proper uses of wastes and I have also built about 20 tippy taps from the practicle skills learnt from secondary school. By doing this I think most  of the diseases can be  controlled.
Thank you  ,I remain

AFRICAN CHILD

LIFE ASPECTS

Welcome to my blog and this is Benjamin ,a 17 year old boy who was born and grew up from Uganda, one of the countries in the east of Africa. This sounds a bit frustrating as most of the African children are born in poor families and don't have what to put on and some times have to sleep on empty stomachs.Out of experience,I grew up since 2000 in one of the villages in west of Uganda .it wasn't all that easy as I had to some times spend some days on an empty stomach when my mother and father were away and I was living with my grand mum .Sincerely speaking,it wasnt all that easy to me .I guess u can imagine spending the whole day on an empty stomach. This has turned to be  one of the concern to some western countries such as Britain,Germany,USA and name them .Some of the causes of this are;polygamy, illiteracy, drunkandness of the parents, ignorance in parents and the HIV pace which has been increasing on the highest rate which leaves the children as orphans
